OUR APPROACH
At Continuing In The Word Lifestyle, we believe that integrating biblical teachings with education for children from preschool to primary school offers numerous benefits. This approach significantly deepens their grasp of academics and bible, while fostering crucial real-life skills and instilling strong moral values.
We aim to create a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and moral development. It stimulates curiosity and creativity, showing children the relevance of academics in real-life scenarios through biblical and educational principles.
This educational framework blends academic progress with spiritual growth, nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with knowledge and a strong moral compass.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
At Continuing In The Word Lifestyle, we offer non-denominational, co-educational distance education for students from Preschool through KS2. Our strong curriculum, dedicated teaching, and various support resources foster a Bible-based education that nurtures each child’s mind, heart, and spirit.
We partner with families to develop students who:
#Think critically and biblically (Romans 12:2).
#Demonstrate Christ-like character (Galatians 5:22-23).
#Understand their God-given identity and purpose (Ephesians 2:10).
#Live out their faith through service and leadership (Matthew 20:26).
#Pursue academic excellence with Christian values (Colossians 3:23).
By integrating spiritual formation with academic rigor, we prepare young people for college, careers, and a meaningful impact in the world for the glory of God.
OUR PHYLOSOPHY
At Continuing In The Word Lifestyle, we integrate the Bible with educational materials to enhance both spiritual and academic development. This approach allows learners to explore profound biblical truths while engaging with various subjects, leading to a well-rounded understanding of faith and education.
We expose the children to Bible-integrated curricula to discover themes of love, good morals, and forgiveness, encouraging them to reflect on their values. For instance, discussing biblical compassion can deepen social studies lessons and promote critical thinking about moral dilemmas.
This integration fosters an engaging learning environment, stimulating curiosity and thought-provoking discussions. By examining topics through a biblical lens, students gain insights that enrich their understanding of history, ethics, literature, and science.
The benefits of integrating Bible with educational curricula for children include:
1. Child Development:
Faith-based education nurtures the child's intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and moral growth, preparing them to be responsible citizens and compassionate leaders.
2. Morality:
Christian teachings provide a strong moral compass, instilling values like integrity, compassion, and empathy, which influence behaviour inside and outside the classroom.
3. Godly Worldview:
A Christian education combines biblical perspectives with academic subjects, helping children connect faith with daily life and decision-making.
4. Identity:
Children develop confidence and resilience when they understand their purpose according to God's scientific creativity. Continuing In The Word often creates a supportive association with children, fostering belonging and encouragement to develop confidence and resilience, which are mostly needed in this generation.
5. Spirituality:
Continuing In The Word content exposes children to a life of regular prayer, Bible study, and role models from the Bible. Through these approaches, children develop a personal relationship with God, seen by many families as foundational for life.
